Oblivion Remastered Lands on Nintendo Switch 2

Nintendo’s August 12 news feed confirmed The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is available on Nintendo Switch 2. The package includes the full adventure plus Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine, rebuilt with Unreal Engine 5 visuals, modernized third-person presentation, sprinting, reworked combat feedback, and a leveling system inspired by both Oblivion and Skyrim. Nintendo’s post also calls out per-race unique dialogue recording (where some voices were previously shared) and broad UI/UX modernization. Listed regular price is $49.99 on the Nintendo eShop path referenced in the announcement. For Switch 2 owners, this is a big single-player RPG stickiness play: a legendary open-world RPG that can travel in handheld mode without waiting for a hypothetical future Elder Scrolls portable. Performance modes and battery life will decide day-to-day satisfaction, but the content bundle is complete out of the gate.
