Android 17 QPR2 Beta 4 OTA Links Return 404 for Pixel Testers

Manual OTA downloads for Android 17 QPR2 Beta 4 started failing with HTTP 404 for multiple Pixel owners and developers, Android Authority reports. Full packages needed for sideload recovery and clean installs were vanishing from Google’s usual download endpoints, leaving some devices stuck — including at least one reboot-loop report where the recovery image could not be fetched.

Beta 4 itself lists fixes for overheating/reboots, app drawer search, Bluetooth call audio, notification shade failures, and Face Unlock issues, which makes the missing bits especially painful. Google had not publicly explained the outage at publication time. Until links return, testers should avoid factory scenarios that require the full OTA and prefer mirrored packages only from trusted official channels once Google restores them.
