Xiaomi’s Poco sub-brand opened the F9 Pro and F9 Ultra with flagship-class silicon and unusually fast screens. 9to5Google’s spec sheet: Ultra pairs Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1; Pro uses an 8 Elite Gen 5 V-Series config with up to 12GB / 512GB. Both add a 12nm VisionBoost D8 chip for AI frame insertion and super-resolution, HyperRGB AMOLED panels at 185Hz peaking around 4,500 nits, ultrasonic in-display fingerprints, and Gorilla Glass 7i.
Cameras share a 200MP OIS main; Pro adds 50MP 2.5x floating tele + 8MP ultrawide, while Ultra steps to 50MP 5x periscope + 50MP ultrawide, both with 32MP front sensors. Sizes: 6.59-inch Pro vs 6.9-inch Ultra. It’s a pure performance-phone flex aimed at undercutting ultra-premium pricing.
