End users mostly see the new mark in the app switcher and settings rather than on the car head unit itself, so this is brand chrome more than a drive-time feature drop — but it is clearly stage-setting for a larger Android Auto redesign already teased in the press. If your phone still shows the old blue-era icon, wait for 17.6 to finish rolling.
