Android 17 QPR2 Beta 4 makes Pixel’s Auracast-style voice broadcast feature easier to start, Android Authority reports. The Audio/Voice broadcast tool lets a Pixel act like a personal PA over a private wireless network — useful for tours, classrooms, or group travel without everyone cranking speakerphone. Earlier builds buried the control; Beta 4 surfaces it more like Samsung’s voice-broadcast ideas that Galaxy owners already recognize.
Pixel 6/6 Pro remain outside newer QPR2 support paths in the same beta wave, and Pixel 11 devices were still waiting on QPR2 in the report. Feature availability still depends on compatible earbuds/speakers and regional Bluetooth LE Audio support, but the UX message is clear: Google wants broadcast sharing to be a discovered feature, not a hidden flag.
