Samsung may finally be building real over-ear cans to sit next to Galaxy Buds. 9to5Google reports SamMobile found references inside a Samsung app to a product called Galaxy H1. The icons show a conventional over-ear silhouette — nothing wild, no visible hinge gimmick in the leak. Features such as ANC and Bluetooth are guesses; the leak does not lock specs, price, or a date.
Timing is wide open. It could ride along with Galaxy S26 FE, land with new glasses later this year, or slip to 2027. Samsung has danced around this category for years while Sony, Apple, Bose, and now every AI-pin startup own the headband. A first-party Galaxy headphone would matter for seamless switching with Buds, Watch, and phone, and for Samsung’s health and translator features that need a bigger battery than an earbud.
Until there is a photo of hardware, treat H1 as a codename in software. Still, app strings are how a lot of Galaxy wearables leaked before they were real. If you have been waiting to leave Sony without leaving the Galaxy account, this is the first credible breadcrumb in a while.
